Geffen Mesher Announces Summer Promotions

At the end of June, Mike Rompa, CEO of Geffen Mesher, announced the promotion of sixteen team members in both the tax and audit departments. “Each of them exemplifies excellent client service and dedication, demonstrates leadership and team commitment, but above all, truly makes our firm a great place to call home,” Rompa said in his announcement to the firm. The promotions are outlined below.
The following team members have been promoted to Tax Senior. They will now assume more of an internal leadership role and provide guidance and feedback to staff accountants.
Nora Aguirre, whose specialties include construction and manufacturing.
Megan Anderson, primarily focused on professional services, including architects, engineers, and restaurants.
Sarah Bradvica, who works with clients in the residential and commercial rental space.
Bethany Dozier, who specializes in high-net-worth individuals and tax planning.
Evan Gilhula, who primarily serves clients in the real estate industry.
Kate Krater, an expert on trusts, estate tax, and gift tax.
Kurt Muramatsu, who focuses on real estate, investment funds, and partnerships.
Haley Shelton, who serves our clients in the manufacturing industry.
Tax Senior Manager
The following team members, promoted to Tax Senior Manager, will take on much more consultative, client-facing roles and will focus increasingly on long-term tax planning and strategy for our clients.
Ahram Cho, who specializes in partnership and S-corporation taxation.
Rachel Henrichs, who focuses on partnership taxation, high-net-worth individuals, and opportunity zones.
Penny Sweeting, our resident expert on all things related to state & local tax.
Cynthia Carlile has been promoted to Audit Senior, where she will continue to serve her clients in the real estate, professional services, manufacturing, and hospitality industries in a more supervisory capacity.
The following team members have been promoted to Audit Manager, and will now help supervise our staff auditors as well as take point on certain client relationships.
Conor Ferguson, who serves on our Forensic & Integrity Services team as one of the firm’s five CFEs.
Cate Kennel, who focuses on the manufacturing and hospitality industries.
Gram Leahy, who has significant experience in the real estate, construction, and manufacturing industries.
Joanne Lin, who serves on our Asia Pacific practice and assists clients in the manufacturing and employee benefit plans industries.
