Bill Schneller

Director of Information Technology

CISSP, SSCP

Background

Bill Schneller joined Geffen Mesher in October 2016. As Director of Information Technology, he primarily focuses on increasing the firm’s security, enhancing our ability to work remotely, and increating automation — all of which allows us to better serve our clients. Prior to joining Geffen Mesher, Bill served as Senior Engineer and Director of Operations for an IT managed service provider.

Bill is passionate about information security and holds a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification, as well as other industry and security certifications. He is a member of ISC2, the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP), the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), and InfraGard.

Bill received his Bachelor of Arts in Literature with a concentration in Medieval and Renaissance Literature from SUNY Purchase. A native New Yorker, Bill is proud to call Portland his home now, and he’s found a way to cope with the fact that people here walk too slowly. Outside of the office, Bill loves to cook, brew beer, collect wine, garden, play music, expore Portland’s parks with his wife and dogs, and (when he thinks nobody’s looking) work on his hacking skills in his home lab.
