Entity Selection for Businesses

CPA
Graham likes the technical requirements that come with being a CPA, coupled with opportunities to discover new things about a variety of businesses and industries. “On a professional level, I see ongoing education and proactive communication as part of doing the job the right way. Personally, I love constantly learning new things, whether it’s about real estate, construction, technology, or a manufacturing process.”
Toward these pursuits, Graham takes in industry-focused lectures, conferences, and workshops where, not surprisingly, he’s often the only CPA in the room. “Traditional continuing education courses only take a CPA so far. I prefer to learn the things that speak directly to my clients, which helps me to communicate in their language, and, on a deeper level, truly understand their needs. All of this pays dividends in the way we perform, and our clients benefit from our diligence and interest.” When he’s not expanding his industry knowledge or working directly on behalf of his clients, Graham likes to take in Ducks and Blazers games, head out to wine country, sample some of Portland’s great restaurants with his wife, play a round of golf, and perhaps most importantly, spend quality time with his young children.
