Background

Born and raised in Portland, Gram Leahy joined Geffen Mesher in October 2015 after earning his accounting degree from the University of Redlands in Southern California. Since joining the firm, he has gained significant experience working in a number of industries, including construction, real estate, and manufacturing & distribution. One of Gram’s specialties is working with real estate investment funds. He performs analyses of preferred return calculations, investment valuations, and income recognition. He enjoys continuously learning about the intricacies of the various structures of these fund agreements. Gram has also worked extensively with employee benefit plan audits.

Gram serves as Geffen Mesher’s primary liaison with the Surety Association of Oregon (SAO), an organization that serves and supports surety & insurance companies, insurance agents, attorneys, and other insurance professionals. In his free time, Gram is an avid tennis player and runner. When not in motion, he is most likely attending a Blazers game or exploring Portland’s craft brewing scene.
