It’s no surprise Michelle Hooton ended up in the accounting business. She’s always been a “numbers person,” and she also developed a love for interacting with people and helping others, whether it was assisting someone with a class assignment or a new project in the office. Being able to combine both skills into her career is very satisfying to Michelle.
“I’ve often heard that my cheery disposition, reliability, and ability to think calmly and logically through situations are appreciated by my clients and co-workers.”
Michelle’s background includes 10 years with a single-family office dedicated to 35+ members spanning four generations. Able to interact directly with family members while providing for their specific needs, she regularly handled such items as tax returns, bookkeeping, financial statements, household help payroll, and coordinating efforts with the family’s team of professionals. “As a trusted resource for my clients, I truly enjoy providing valuable insights into their finances and helping them streamline their lives.”
In 2013, Michelle joined Geffen Mesher to assist in developing the firm’s Family Office service offering. Her targeted experience, coupled with the firm’s long history of providing services to high net worth individuals and families, is a great combination for our clients.
