Paige Lukens

Senior Manager

CPA

Background

After earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business from Linfield College, Paige lived in Japan for two years teaching English. While there she realized she missed the thought processes surrounding business classes such as finance, accounting, and economics, so she researched career paths where she could utilize those skills and ultimately enrolled in the accounting program at Portland State University.

Paige interned at Geffen Mesher the summer of 2008, finished her accounting certificate from PSU in December 2008, and started working here full-time later that month. Paige worked in both audit and tax for several years before deciding to focus on tax, so she has a firm grasp of both disciplines.

In 2015 Paige and her husband were looking for adventure and so they set out on an extended RV road trip around the country. They came upon the city of Knoxville, Tennessee and decided to relocate there. Paige has been working for the firm remotely and continues to serve our clients in Oregon while watching the changing fall leaves in the Great Smoky Mountains.

She currently provides tax services with a particular emphasis on serving our clients in the industries of real estate, manufacturing, architecture, homebuilders and assisted living facilities. Paige enjoys being part of the client’s team, helping them make decisions that will shape the future of their company. She especially enjoys multi-year projects where year-to-year progress can be seen, as well as observing how the envisioned plan comes together.
