Theresa joined Geffen Mesher in 2019 after working for over a decade in the private and public accounting sectors. Her professional experience began with more than 4 years in federal healthcare reimbursement, starting with cost report auditing for a federal healthcare agency and transitioning to cost report preparation for a local public accounting firm. She then performed audits, reviews, and compilations as well as tax services for 6 years for a variety of industries, including healthcare, professional services, and real estate. Since transitioning to Geffen Mesher, her focus has shifted to the assurance side of accounting.
In Theresa’s current role as assurance manager, she serves the real estate and professional services industries, specializing in employee benefit plans and HUD-assisted projects.
